GAME SUMMARY: Coatesville’s bats came out hot for their first game of the season. Seven of the nine starting players each had two hits with three at bats. Brandon Andrews and Matt Crist both started the season off with home runs to deep left field. Nick McBride started the rally in the bottom of the first with a bases loaded triple. Mike Gragilla pitched 5 strong innings in the shortened game striking out five batters.

GAME SUMMARY: Coatesville remains undefeated with their third straight victory of the season. Bishop Shanahan took an early 5 to 2 lead but then the Coatesville bats came alive scoring 11 runs in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th innings. Brandon Andrew had two shots during the rallies one for a double and the next for a triple. Nick McBride went three for three with two walks.

GAME SUMMARY: Coatesville’s 9th grade baseball team need two touch downs and a field goal to get past Malvern Prep 17 to 16 in a three hour game played at Coatesville. Both teams had their bats come alive for big innings several times during the game. In the top of the 7th Brandon Andrew got the final batter to ground out with the tying run standing on third base. Numerous Coatesville players had multi-hit games with Brandon Andrew, Brendan O’Brien, Mike Gragilla and Joseph Kohan leading the way going a combined 12 for 17.
